DIONYSUS 2025 – 2026 MEMBERSHIP MEETING DATES – Held on Tuesdays, this year’s meeting dates are: March 18th, July 15th, October 14th and January 20th, 2026.  Each meeting includes Complimentary Supper with a cash bar.

FLOAT LIEUTENANT MEETINGS – Held on Thursdays, this year’s meeting dates are: March 13th, July 10th, October 9th and January 15th, 2026. Meetings are held at the American Legion 1680 St Ann Pl, Slidell, LA. Complimentary food and drinks during the meeting.

ST PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION – OLD TOWN SLIDELL – SUNDAY, MARCH 9th, 2025  A “come one come all” family and friends get together in the parking lot just north of Brock Elementary School (the corner of Brakefield St and Carey St).  The krewe provides the music, the port-a-potties and the grill (and the volunteer cooks).  All we ask is that you bring yourself, your family and friends, your chairs and what you’d like to drink and also something to share….either something for the grill or a dessert or other “pot luck” dish.  The grill lights off around 6 a.m. and doesn’t quit until everyone goes home full around 6 p.m.

HOSPICE FOUNDATION 20th ANNUAL CRAWFISH COOK-OFF, SATURDAY, APRIL 26th at Fritchie Park – 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Once again, the Krewe of Dionysus will manning the gates at this event.  Advance tickets available at Hancock Whitney Bank locations.  More info available and soon online tickets will be available at https://thehospicehouse.org/events.

DADDY DAY CARE POKER RUN – SATURDAY, JUNE 14th – LOCATION – TBD.  Advance Purchase $50/hand (KOD members get a $5.00 discount on advance purchase tickets.

CORONATION BALL – SATURDAY, JULY 19th, SLIDELL AUDITORIUM, Food and open bar with a band.  Stand by to be surprised. Tell your date to start shopping because Dionysus is Dressing up again!  Dress: Men – Formal Suit and Tie, Black Tie Optional. Ladies – Floor-length gown or Cocktail dress.   Cost is $90.00 for KOD members (Limit 2 Tickets), $100.00 for the public.  Deadline to purchase tickets online is Thursday, July 17th.

SIPPIN’ AND SWIMMIN’ WITH THE KREWE – Saturday, AUGUST, 23rd.  Check back for more details about this annual pool party..!!!

HALLOWEEN FALL BLOWOUT – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25th Location TBD – Check back for more details soon on this event..!!!

MARDI GRAS RETIREMENT HOME MINI-PARADES – TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd, 2026 and WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH, 2026

PRE-PARADE PARTY –  FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6th, 2026 – SLIDELL AUDITORIUM, 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Doors Open at 7:30 PM.  Open Bar with a band.  NO FOOD
SERVED but feel free to bring your own.  Cost TBD.  Deadline to purchase tickets online will be Wednesday, February 4th.

FLOAT LOADING AND FAMILY DAY – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7th, 2026 – Location TBD.  Complimentary Food, music and fun for the whole family while krewe members load their floats..!!!  Your extended family and friends are also encouraged to attend.  Don’t forget your chairs and drinks.
